Sizes once and for all

Hey ive read alot of threads on e36 speaker sizes and not one has every fully explained each speaker and size..
SO... i have a 1992 325i and i want to replace all my speakers...How many do i have and what are the sizes for each, I think i have 2 kick panels 2 in the door with 2 tweaters and 2 in the back..Also i have 2 6x9's and i think 2 6.5's components...is there anyway to install these?

Also is it possible to get rid of the grey side skirts in 92's? Thanks

i dont understand the first question, what did the FAQ thread not explain? do you have a harmon kardon system? if not than you should only have 8 speakers, 2 on the back deck, 2 on the drives door, 2 on the passenger door. and two down in the kick pannel area


kick panel= 5.25" -kick pannels
door= 1" tweeter -one one each door
door= 3.5" -one each door.
rear deck= 4"- one on left one on right.

as for changing with what you have, your gonna be doing some customizing.

as for question #2, i dont think you can, you should just get some decent side skirts.
