remote start

Could anyone suggest a good remote start product for a 1995 740i e38. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, Thanks.

I have had Astrostart's 3006 for years now and their product is awesome. Canada-based, and they really know cold up there. Its a remote start, alarm, and keyless entry.

any products that are *remote start only*? I am not really looking for a full alarm system, just the nice option to start my car and let the ac run and cool down the car before i get in.

astrostart makes a remote start only, i just dont like carrying around 2 remotes and a lot of times you have to be close enough to the car to unlock the car (disarming the alarm) before the remote start will work (the factory alarm thinks its being stolen because it essentially is being hotwired via the remote start). The keyless feature is almost standard anymore. there are cheaper products but I am a firm believer in you get what you pay for...

hope that helps...
