Question Remote key and alarm installation help

Help. Trying to install a recently purchased remote key unit for "95 325i. In the trunk, it says pre-wired for remote key entry. I can't find where to plug it in. The guy i bought the car from says its under the glove box...nothing there. Any insight, thanks.

have you tried looking on the inner part by removing the glove box? or
let the guy that sold you that look for it.

Its prewired for a factory BMW unit. Aftermarket ones will work, but they arent a plug and play. I would opt for an aftermarket one as they typically have more range and more features than the BMW ones
