Can I fit 5 1/4 inch speakers in the rear deck of my 1998 328i? I currently have the stock rear speakers that are a 4" driver and 1" tweeter. I would like to replace them with a 5 1/4" set of coaxels. The stock speakers sound horrible. I've already put Rockford compoments in the front and two MTX 10" subs in the trunk.

you can do anything u want..... all u need is a jig saw and universal speaker mounting adapters... hell, why not go 6x9? i agree 4" is lame, and your 5 1/4" idea is also lame...
