Rattles

I finaly installed my sub and amp that I had previously used in another car into the trunk of my 97 328is. The rear deck lid is rattling like crazy, but I can't figure out what exactly is rattling.

I've heard that a lot of guys have had this problem. Does anyone know of any fixes?

Play a good, bass-heavy song, go to your lid and see if you can place your hand on an area and get it quiet down or stop all together. If you can do this, get some Dynamat from your local audio shop and place some on that area. You may have to remove some panels, as this stuff needs to be applied to a metal surface.

that's what I was thinking about doing. It's rattleing in between the metal, and the decklid.

I guess I'll have to take the deck lid out, and dynamat inbetween the two layers
