Radio switching off/on randomly

hi all,
I got a problem that's become a must to fix. My radio cuts off and on whenever it pleases, and I used to actually kinda tap it or slightly push on it to get it to come on but that no longer works. Everytime it comes back on, i have to reset the code.
Sometimes when it comes on, the LED display is dim, and sometimes it's very bright. When it comes on and it's very bright, it usually stays on longer than when the LED is dim. Was wondering if it might have something to do with the power going to the unit. Just thought I'd see what you guys thought before I go taking the unit out. I've taken one of these out so I sorta know what's back there but now I'm stuck. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks

i would think its power....maybe it has a cut in the power wire and or the power wire is slack....i have never personally pulled out my bmw radio....i dont even know where the power hooks into....but in any other situation like this....i'd say it was power

It could be the power connection is loose, but it sounds to me as if your radio has died on the inside. If you can't fix it, Ill sell you my factory radio pretty cheap. Im also moving this to audio.
