 Questions regarding Installing Amp & Subs in 2000 323i
My buddy wants to put an amp and subs in his car, after searching the forums i have a couple questions. He has the stock stereo and so i was planning on tapping into the rear speakers and using a line out converter, but he isn't sure if he has a stock woofer.
If he does have a stock woofer, can i disconnect it and use the sub lines, either before or after the factory amp since it is already set up for lows only, or should i just disconnect it and use the rear speaker lines?
Also, i saw in some posts that batteries are mounted in the trunk, is this true for his model too?
Where is the best place to grab power for the remote on for the amp?
