PS2 Install in Car

Has anyone ever installed a PS2 or any console in their car?
What mods are necessary, how much would the screen be, is it worth it at all?

I havent dont it, but its not hard. All you need is a screen ($400 should get you something), a DC adapter for the PS2, and wires. In order to play in with your cars speakers you will either need a new HU that has a port for that or an FM modulator.

I am in the process of molding a screen where the obc and pocket goes in my 325i...I am going to put a game plate in my glove box and have it where i can swap my ps2 or my nintendo in and out. The game plate is a plate that is about 3inx3in and has a wall outlet plug, audio video jacks and an on/off switch on it..u can cut out a spot for it to go and the power inverter can go back behind the dash etc...Unless your radio has an auxilary input, you will have to use an fm modulator like el presidente said...My Eclipse radio has an input so I am good there...

I have an eclipse also so should be all set there.
Where did you buy all the stuff, screen plaste etc. Are you doing the install yourself?

I work at a car audio shop so yeah I am doing the install myself, also the game plate/power inverter pack I am getting through myself too...You can probably search on ebay or any car audio site and get one...I like them alot because you can easily take any console in and out...
