I have recently installed a new cd player but found that my antenna had electrical tape holding the end plug onto the wire. Of course I did not know how bad it was until i undid the electrical tape and now can't get it to tape back right.

Is there any way to rewire the antenna. Does anyone know of a place to take it that would be able to do it?

Is there a way to put a new plug on the end of it?

What kind of car do you have?

Yeah you can, but it's not super super easy. The antenna lead is a two phase lead meaning the hot and ground wires are inside the single lead. So after getting a new connector, you would just strip both ends down, connect the inner hot wire, and then covering completely with the shielding, then connecting the outer layer. THe idea is to have none of the inner and outer layer of wires touch.
