here is my 300/2 JL amp and kicker sub i got them as a graduation gift so its pretty cool. i am thinking about buying one more sub.

Nice. I am a big fan of the CVR. Have you listened to it much? I think two would be a lot of bass. Too much for me. I have one Solobaric L7 8" and it is plenty for me. If you are a bass head go for it.

BTW, how do you have it wired? Is that a mono or two channel amp? Remember, the CVR is a dualvoice coil sub, you don't want to bridge a two channel amp with a dual voicecoil sub or a run a voicecoil off each channel of a two channel amp.

With a dual four ohm voicecoil sub, you want to wire the sub's voicecoils in a parallel circuit inducing a two ohm load on a single channel of an amp. If you have a mono amp, this is perfect, if it is a two channel amp, just use one channel. Refer to manual for any questions on this as I will be out of town for the next several days...
