I always LOVED Kenwood but since one year or so the design on the headunits sucks (my point of view).
As quality / price I would say it's a decent headunit but they have done better.

Kenwood=Very good value

That HU in particular is a bit flashy for my taste, they do have a few HU's that have an illumination that matches the BMW amber very well.

I guess it's whatever your in to, but either way Kenwood makes good stuff.

Too Flashly. The fold down is too gaudy. Just my thought-I made the mistake of buyin a chrome colored hu, i would recommend u do not do the same. It doesn't match the interior and sticks out with all the black paneling. Just some advice
