Can I put a subwoofer in the trunk within 2 feet of my factory CD changer without the subwoofer interfering with the operation of the CD? It is a 1994 325i Convertible (E36) with an Alpine tr0001 cd changer.

Sure you can. Why did you think otherwise?? Maybe I can explain why is won't effect your changer then.

Yes and No. Depends on how loud your have it and how powerful is your sub. I have 2 12" Subs about a foot away from my 6 disc changer. If I am pounding serious bass and have the music cranked up loud it will cause the changer to skip, but again that is if I want to be heard coming down the street from hunderds of yards away. I also placed dynamat between the changer and mounting location in the trunk. Hope this helped
