they should be ok, I like the twisted design, that helps to shield out any noise that might jump in the cable as its running down the car. before you use the silver wire for a remote, you may want to try using it as a reference ground (one end at the chassis of the radio, and one at the amp's ground), if you still have noise.

Just away from the power cables and maybe away from any factory lines if possible.

could the fact that the crossover box is tucked behind a one inch thick red power cable have something to do with the noise from the rear right hand side speaker even when the radio is switched off?

all being re-routed tomorrow

just noticed that the remote cable interwoven into the new rcas is coaxial..a single very thin wire surrounded by silver.. ?? do i use only the inner one? radios completely off so i assume the electronics in the crossover are broadcating something through the speaker courtesy of the closeness of the main power cable?? anyway all change today

the plug (8 wires) in the back of the HU for the speakers needs to remain disconnected as the HU no longer runs the speakers

well it's finished and working great!! NO NOISE!!!
Thanks!!
Bluetooth loom has gone in too
Waiting on the module (12th gen)
new position for the offending crossover ( i think)

new vent went in as old one rattled

i must admit not happy with this ...im looking at some kind of pod

subwoofer control to the right

left side tweeter

all in one sub/amp...actually i find the thump thump a bit intrusive and i have it turned low ...may get rid of it later when the novelty wears off as it's just taking up trunk space

right side tweeter and morel visible inside oem speaker panel

finished

may come back later LOLOL
oh still curious to know why coax cable for remote and how to get steering interface working btw
