The Kappa components themselves are about that much, and the 325is pods routinely go for about $30 on eBay. I'd do it. I mean, like I would do it, but I'm broke. I'm going to do a Reference system anyway, Kappas aren't worth the price jump for another 10% of sound quality.
Kappa Perfects are lot. The refernce comps go between 150-200. Being used, cut the value in half, and since its car audio, you don't know how it will last. I'd pay no more than 250.

It all depends on you and what you like to hear. Some believe MB Quarts are great some do not. MB Quarts are known to have somewhat bright highs. They are a great drop-in speaker for BMWs. I currently have the 4" premium coaxials in the rear deck for rear fill. Sounds great.
