Got some new 10" Type-R /////Alpine today. Just got them hooked up and drove to the store sounded really good. But this is comparing to 12 year old pioneers that were max 250 watt. I got them hooked up to a 1000 watt power actustik amp. I love it so far. I havent turned it up super loud yet because i want them to have a little warm up time. But has anyone ever had these?

im sure i will. the only thing that stop me from getting 12's is the limited space my trunk has because of the convertible

sp0rky is an unknown quantity at this point
The Type-Rs generally compare to a JL Audio w3 which most people love, also.

Good sub - especially for the price.
