So I've been busy and neglecting my need to build a new sub box. Got the XM setup last weekend, and got the week free. My (read: guy who orignially bought the tuner) subscription expired yesterday on the way home. So now I have no sat radio or sub in the car, and that just wasn't going to cut it. Spent today working and finalizing and recutting and junk, and the box is 90% done. I'm letting the sealant dry and the fumes air out before I carpet it and install the sub. expect pics tomorrow.

I like prolonging the agony of wait. I may do it even more. The camera is in the car and its raining (for the godknowshowmanydayinarow) outside. Plus I missed a spot with the sealent and had to redo it. Don't want to load the sub in until all the fumes are gone. Got the amp in though. Fits like a glove. If the rain quits and I get a chance to go outside, I'll upload some pics.

Also, for those of that enjoy music the way music should be enjoyed, the factory setup lacks the low end to reproduce natural bass. Now, any more than 2 subs is excessive. I had two 10s at one time, then moved down to one 12.

Well, I don't want to see them anymore. I did. But you've waited too long. I'm no longer interested...hmph!

The pic is actually upside down, but thats how it would look in the car.

As I said before, changed the design some. No shelves like I originally planned. XM hangs out in the back now (still not quite done carpeting, more silicon drying).

VERY CLEAN. Very nice. I think banishing the XM box to the darkness was a good idear.

I must now go and build a new enclosure and amp rack for my trunk. Start the clock, I will have pics up in two weeks...

Well, I could build one for you if you gave me the specs on what you want. Wouldn't be done very fast (have to build one for a jeep this weekend) but it would be cheaper than a shop. I'm all about making money.
