Nice install! Did you build the enclosure? Is that a custom floor or did you install over the carpet?
How well does your sound come through the back seat? Fold down rear seats?
However it was done that looks really clean! and Really nice! Enjoy your new system!

Because you can.
You don't "need" that much, but you don't need 275+ hp, but it's fun to abuse. I do however have very boringly what one needs
wow, thanks for all the replies. and yes, everything i built myself. i went to my neighbor for the box and amp rack, he and his dad are pro carpenters so they wizzed through it pretty quickly, aside from the fact that they didnt make it exactly air tight, so i had to go back through with some hot glue. it is the stock carpet its on, i chose to carpet the box with the lighter grey because a) it would match the cones of the subs and B) because it was all my neighbor had . the amp sends 1200 RMS at 2 ohms to the subs. and htey will rock with the right music, i still have a lot of deadenign to due, and the amp still isnt tuned just right.
thanks again for your comments, and look to see more.

and those subs.. man.

Why dont you poke one of your eyes out - hell, you dont really need two!
I'm not criticising you personally xsperf - but when people say to me why does your stereo go so loud I punch them in the face really hard and ask them why they aren't dead yet
Originally posted by xsperf@Oct 26 2004, 11:03 PM by the way, im not dissing the guy who installed this stuff, its just a question
if i had 1 eye, i wouldnt BUY another 500 eyes for like 50 thousand dollars.. u see the difference?

Lol - I know but then why aren't US cars limited to 55 and Uk cars limited to 70 mph - I mean these are the speed limits right? Why would anyone want to go faster?!?
See my point yet?
J...
P.s you need that much volume because after a while you start to go deaf - if it doesnt go loud enough you wont hear it at all
You guys are comparing apples and oranges. There is absolutley no need for that much power. You can't compare it to speed, because sometimes people like to get where their going a little faster, or even like racing their cars in competitions. A-holes that drive with their music so loud that you can't hear it over yours are intolerable in my eyes.
But hey, I guess it's a matter of opinion, just don't try and compare things that can't be compared, especially if you are ripping on someone. It makes you look foolish.
Also, whoever said "just poke one of your eyes out, you only need 1 ... punch them in the face and ask them why their not dead", I'm sorry but that is an absolute ridiculous comparison to sound. Ever here of peripheral vision? Close your left eye and see if you see my fist coming at you from the left as well as you would if it was open. Because honestly, you deserve to be punched in the face.
