need sub help ~

Need Help on which subs to get for a 1995 740i

Currently running a pioneer DEH-770MP HU

4 pioneer premier TS-A530P 3-way 160w(door speakers),

4 MB Quart 100w rms rce-213 (rear deck) running off a alpine 75w rms x4 amp(MRV-F345)

Stuck in between 3 choices for subs

JL AUDIO 13.5" (suggestions for an amp to power as well)

KICKER SOLO-BARIC 12" 2004 model

KICKER SOLO-X 10" or 12" (suggestions for an amp to power as well)


Any Help on these or alternative suggestions would be greatly apreciated (price range under 1000 for amp/sub combo)

Stick to a name brand but not just one you THINK is best. Really take a good listen to them with a lot of different types of music. Dont take your friends with you (they will influence you whether you like it or not). Everyone is going to tell what they think is best. There is no "best" woofer/amp/headunit/[insert audio component here], just peoples opinions.

REALLY , REALLY listen to the subs and you will begin to notice a difference in the way different ones preform with different types of music. I have 2 11" Focal subs in my car because in my opinion they work the best with my car and my ears and my taste of music. There are a lot of differences out there and the fun part is finding the perfect one for you.

I love my 13.5 JLW7, I use a JL1000/1 on it. I have it tuned for my listening taste which is fusion / rock / jam band stuff.

I did have an Adire Audio Brahma 12" before the JL and it was also very good for SQ, and it was not expensive for a good sub.
