Need To Install The Subs I Got In The Box

all right i got a 3/4 mdf box \/

it will be holding 2 12" subs {1230 reference infinity}

and i have no clue on how to wire it and what wiring is the best im running the amp i have from my old subs its a 600 watt rockford

buy anyway someone could tell me how to do this would be greatfuly appreciated

Just so we're clear, you mean SVC 1230 and not DVC 1232.

how many channels is the amp? Is it 2ohm stable? whats the RMS/channel?

shipping may be cheap, but pres, your boxes are nicer, and 99 percent sure, weigh a lot more because of better wood.

but cool box, 2 1230s? thats a lot of low end right there.... have fun, and please dont drive by my house at 4 am in the morning

haha i hope that they hit hard and i have a good enough amp to push them

but on the other hand im sure they will be better hten my 2 w0s they are like not the greatest....

but anyone know where a step by step instruction is on how to put them in a box? wire it up and all that jazz cuz moble one and car toys want 40 doller to do it plus the wiring... so idk.....

to hook the subs in... all you have to do is hook 2 wires from amp to sub then screw them onto the box... but the amp is a little more work.. el pres could help

There should be clearly labeled + and - marks on the amp. The box should have a + and - connector. Connect those to the amp, and do the same for the inside.

To install the sub, buy screws. screw it in. If possible drill pilot holes.

Also peal and stick the gaskest to the back of the sub to prevent airleaks.

Also, that amp is not very good for subs. Far too weak. That will give it 50W RMS. It likes 300W RMS.

The best cheap amp I've used with good results is the Kenwood KAC 7201. Decent power. Far better than the RF.

Exactly. I bought my MRV-T420 for around 160. Retail is near 500. Works fine.
