Im replacing the cd drive for my navigation system because it's crapped out....i found a mkII unit for a good price, but I use a MKI unit.....will it work or not?

ANY help would be appreciated...

umm not sure about that one, havent done much with the navigation units. Most of the time the newer units aren't backwards compatible, as they want you to buy new all around, but someone else may know for sure....
