one problem is that I do not have any antenna so I do not get any radio stations.....is there something I can do to radio?

isn't the antanna built into the rear windsheild in the E36? Or, can the headunit not hook into the OEM connectors for the antanna? (just throwing out ideas here) :wink

the e36 has three separate antenna and the stock headunit rotates between them to get the best signal. In an after market HU, it defaults to the one in the rear glass. If you have tinted windows, you can forget about clear reception, but you can still pick stuff up.

I have the same year and car/model I have a antenna plug in mine lots of adapters behind deck...shsssh no room...yeah the antenna is built on the back window etc....oh and nice deck. I had a similar one but change to alpine instead...but nice deck ya have booom booom booom....

you can get clear reception with tinted windows...as long as it isnt the mirror tint
