MP3 to my business CD? - BMW Forum

Our '06 325i has an Aux in line in the center console and the business Cd that came with the car has aux mode. Can I plug and play any regular MP3 player into this unit? Thanks.

I'm not familiar with it, but if its a standard 3.5mm stereo jack, anything (mp3, ipod, etc.) will work just fine.

Well, it looks like the 3.5 jack, so I ordered all of the cables, charger, and an MP3 player from Amazon. I'll load it up with music once it gets here and see what happens!

If there's an aux port i'm pretty positive any mp3 player would work

Yup, anything with a standard headphone jack should work. You'll get teh audio -- not control over the device.

It was nice using the Mp3 player on our recent trip to Las Vegas. The Mp3 player holds 4G, and I added an 8G memory card, so I was able to load about 1800 songs. Needless to say that during 5 hours total drive time we never heard the same song twice!
