Ipod Connection

the stereo on my car sucks, so im gonna buy a new one... anyone know what is a good stereo that plays cds/mp3 and also ipod compatible? something affordable as well... :P

Alpine makes a reasonably inexpensive CD/AM/FM/mp3 player. I believe they are releasing an ipod adapter this year.

Looking at this I cannot tell if the adapter will work with all mp3 players (I have an iRiver) or just the ipod.

Thats pretty cool, I dont have an ipod (XM radio in the BMW), so I dont really keep up with that format. Cool nonetheless. There ya go Tupac...

I just had a bunch of customers come in with the neo adapter, they sent me a link to a video as well - it should give you a good idea of the install and functions.

Does anyone have any information on something like the Neo Adapter that plays other mp3 players not just ipods. I have an iRiver. Didn't someone post something, a DIY, a while back on taking out the radio and attaching a wire to the back of it to connect to an mp3 player or bringing a wire out of the glove box ?
