Ipod Adaptor Installed, Does Not Work?!

I had the iPod adaptor installed Friday on my 2004 325xi. I plug the iPod in, and the only thing it does is charge! I've tried turning it off and on, turning the radio off and on, and hitting the mode button. I can't seem to get it to engage the iPod.

I have the this http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detai...571054?v=glance ipod, which I assume is compatiable with the adaptor. It was bought last year.

Any advice?

Before any serious troubleshooting, please make sure you have the latest firmware on your ipod (latest firmware).
