Ok, I just got an unexpected chunk of change, and I want to put a sweet sound system in my car. I want it to be loud as hell, but I don't think that when I pull up to a stoplight, everyone needs to hear me bumpin in my little 318i. I'd rather have a balanced out sound, as opposed to all bassand no treble. The music I listen to is mostly rock. What can I get with $750 bucks? Thanks for the help.

new deck of decent quality.
and new speakers

install cost will vary from place to place or if you do it your self they will just cost the hardware and wires needed...

My system is decently loud I've spent close to 1000 on it but that includes a changer. and I did none of the work my self...

Give us a breakdown of your $1000.

Depending on how old your current speakers are, you might be able to get away with adding a good powered subwoofer and cross-over along with a head unit/CD changer.

Then give it a listen for awhile and if you need to replace the stock speaker, go for it.

I'm probably going to run at least one sub. Enough to balance things out, I guess.

That should eat up your budget and then some. Nothing amazing but you couldn't do better for the money.
