I Duno What Is Wrong

i have two 4" speakers up front, and two 6x9s on the back shelf, and a 600w sub in the boot.
first the sub decides to stop working, ive checked the fuses, theyre all good, but the lil power LED on the amp isnt lighting up. so no sub.
secondly, my 6x9s make a strange whizzing sound when the engine is running, but when the engines off they work fine.

can somebody please tell me how to fix this problem??
im so lost, right now im only listening through two 4" speakers and it sucks

Man, honestly, if your not real knowledgeable, I'd take it to a shop and give em thirty bucks to hook it up.

If your power LED on your amp isn't powering up, then either your power, remote, or ground wire is not connected somewhere. More than likely it's your remote wire.

As for your rears, does the whizzing sound change pitch with the revs of the engine. If so it's either a ground issue with the speaker leads, or your amp is dying a slow death.

The reason I say take it to a shop, is because they already know all this, and can diagnose it quickly with the help of a multimeter and all the other fun toys we have on hand. I can walk you through it, but in the end it's probably worth a few bucks for peace of mind.

Same thign ahppend to me today, check to see if your ground cable is fixed up good to your amp, and if it is actually hooked to a ground, if it is, and you'r still experienssing the issue, take it to the pors
