I Am Getting Pretty Sick Of My Car

Is there any way to get some damn sound out of the trunk????? I have tried boxes, porting, I hate leaving my rear seat down, does anyone have any suggestions????

I had the same problem as you and I found the easiest way to fix it. People try and press the sub to the open skidoor to get sound but after trial and error this is the best way.

You first start by taking off the armrest for the back passengers, this consists of two bolts very easily comes off. Then you will have to take off the skibag, this should involve no cutting what so ever to get the actual frame and skibag out but there is a seatbelt attached to the bag you must cut (cut at the seam so it can be resowed if wanted). At this point you basically ported your trunk, put the leather cover over the open door to the trunk and close the armrest and enough should go through to make a differnce. Otherwise you could put a port in the back shelf by the window, but that is a permanent change which i dont like...

I have the same problem but have not been able to solve it since I don't have a ski bag in my back seats. The subs will be pounding and you can hear it for a block or two but the inside doesn't get any of the sound. I have just left the seats cracked open and not worried about it anymore. Sorry I can't be of any help.

i hae the same problem, and so for my convertible i am getting a Bazooka tube to put behind the seat... my friend once tried to put a 12" sub in the trunk of his conv. e30 but as you are saying, you could hear it like crazy from outside of the car, the trunk was litterally bouncing but inside the car was nothing... top down or up..... :S
