HU question - BMW Forum

Hey guys, I'm new here and want some opinions on the cd43 hu. I currently have an Eclipse 3404 in my e36 and was thinking about getting the cd43 instead. I'm just not sure how they compare to one another. Anybody have some thoughts on the matter? thanks

Test the cd43 unit out in a car audio shop and decide for yourself; IMO that's the only real answer you should look for.

The Eclipse is a much better sounding unit than Blaupunkt, but the Blau matches the dash color better and has a 3.5mm jack in the rear for mp3 players. I just went and read the specs, confirmed my thoughts. What are you looking to gain with the Blau?
