HELP! Trying to find stock speaker sizes...

I've searched, but found no clear answer indicating what the stock speaker sizes are for the non-DSP stock stereo in my 2000 540i 6-Speed.

I want to keep all the channels - I plan to replace the factory amp with 1 or more aftermarket amps, and replace ALL the speakers with aftermarket factory sized replacements.

From what I can see, there are 10 speakers as follows:

3 speakers per front door
1 speaker per rear door
2 speakers on rear shelf

Total of 10 speakers in the car.

Does anyone know (and can you let me know) what the speaker sizes are?

Also, does the factory amp control anything else, like the onboard trip computer, etc...?
