I own a 1994 BMw 318i and had a question about it, all of my speakeers are blown, i mean they were stock of course, after i installed my JVC headunit in my car like a month ago. I want to replace all the speakers except tweeters(they are the only ones alive).
CAn u guys help me out with speakers that will replace the stock speakers without any modifications and i want crystal clear sound also i want to connect an amplifier and a 10" sub. I dont care about money i want the most expensive speakers and sub and amp.
Look at Diamond Audio Technology. Awesome power, high quality power, and beautiful sounding speakers. dependind on where you live, magnolia audio video is a authorized Diamond Dealer. Check'em out. The stuff is bitchin...
Focal makes extremely nice audio equipment. Take a listen to everything you can get your hands on before purchasing. The "most expensive" definitely dosnt mean the best, or what is most pleasing to your ears.

What is a difference between component speakers and coaxial speakers, what are crossovers, how do u install these i only have space to install the speaker where does the tweeter go.

Component means you have individual speakers (seperate midrange and tweeter. Coaxial means they are sharing the same axis, meaning the tweeter is on top of the midrange. Which is better? In the rear of the car, you probably wont be able to tell the difference because of the distance to your ears. The front is a different story. You could surface mount the tweeter on top of the rear deck, or cut a hole and flush mount it.
Crossovers are like a stop light. They tell the sound where to go. The limit the tweeters frequencies to what they are designed to play, and the same with the midrange. They are usually found in a component set.

Thats exactly what i was going to do but i want to do the job myself and the guy in our area is a ripoff so there is no other choice, i am going to get the best mb quart speakers tho, infact i already got one set of the MB quart premium speakers 6x9's.
And i shop on ebay all the time and i dont bid on items i just buy them by directly contacting the seller at a buy it now price..
Well thanks for your concern,
This guy NEEDS to go to a car audio shop he has no clue and bought a JVC head unit. Wonder is right Diamond audio is amazing I have them in my 328i but you really have no idea what you are talking about and should go somewhere professional if money is no object. secondly listening to speakers at a car audio place mean absoultly nothing, unless you listen to the speakers in a car you will have no idea what they will sound like in a sound board at a store. you need to find a car audio shop that you trust!!!! Besides there are NO direct replacements for the factory size. Lastly throw out your JVC and buy a real head unit
