question?do i have to take my head unit out in order to put subs in. im gonna use a LOC, and the factory amp is in the trunk.so does that mean all the wires that deal with audio are in the trunk?
It helps if you actually tells us what model and year car you are talking about. If the only thing you are doing is adding a sub, you can tap into the line inputs from the speakers altough the factory amp has internal crossovers and might have those frequencies blocked off. Best bet is to get the feed from the head unit to the amp. With the model and year you can at least search for a wiring diagram for the factory amp.
