post in audio next time please k thanks. :P
Just about any head unit with reputable specs on it will work just fine. I'd stay away from sony in my opinion, their car audio equipment is more of a cheep marketing ploy to earn some money based on their name than to produce a decent product. (take a look at their amps, disgusting)
Alpine, & clarion make amazing head units. If I was going for the best, I'd choose one of those brands. Great stuff comes with a large price tag though. Kenwood, JVC, Pioneer, Panasonic are all great for their prices, just get the one with the specs that you like (EG: wither it plays mp3's, radio sensitivity, amplifier power vs. clarity, etc) and you should be just fine. Dual seems to be the underdog of the head unit family, I havenít had much experience with them so I can't say much about them, but I do think i was in a car with a dual head unit and it sounded just fine.
Sony's will work, but I recommend you go with an alternative due to their marketing decisions, specs, and because they simply look weird Crutchfield
has a nice assortment of head units to choose from. I got the alpine CDA 7995 for around 400$ when it retails for around 600 when they were getting rid of them for the new CDA-7998 replacement of that model. I also got an alpine 6 disc CD changer from crutchfield. Great experience shopping with them.
