does the tv screen cut out when youve started the car? if so find the power and memory wire from the unit and splice them to the memory wire from the car. thats the only thing i can think off if you dont mind doing anything yourself
I've looked for weeks to find devices that would enable the TV screen not to cut out while driving. I know thwo French dealers who have already installed a system and a Belgian delaer who can reprogram the system. I'l let you know if you want. I'll have it done by December.
Is it a factory tv system? The aftermarket ones you have to do a series of things like brakes four times e-brake and then do something else. I know guys that just put in switches to simulate those things and just flip the switches in the right order. They use the tvs so friends can watch while your are driving. They also let other people play xbox and stuff like that in the car. Not a bad way to stay entertained on a road trip!

So two French dealers are selling the same sytem that is two cables (one for video in and another to cancel the spef information). In France it costs 300 Euros, which is about 350 Dollars and you should be able to find this in the States.

You really need to check the manual, as most DO require a ground on the ebrake wire, some also require a positive. Some require a positive first, then after 3 seconds a ground on the ebrake wire. These companies are getting a little smarter (not much but a little).
