getting through the firewall

Hey,

Im new to the board, I just bought a 1991 316i. Currently im wiring up the stereo and have run into a proble, i cant seem to find a way throught the firewall for the power wire to go through. Can anyone here tell me if theres any spare grommets or where I can feed the wire through? If you could that be great, thanks very much!

And loving the car too, its wicked!!

If you cannot find any grommets big enough for the wire you will more than likely have to drill through the firewall...Not that bad to do, just takes a little time...

Look for the electronics box under the hood, follow it through to the firewall... all the wires in there go to the cab, stick it along with those.
