Fitting an active sub in an e36 318i (with battery in the front :()

Just a few questions:

Where do I feed the power cable from the battery into the car? I can't see any hole/grommet to get it through? Do you have to drill? I want it to run down the left hand side door sills, same side as the battery if possible.

Where do I wire the remote cable to? (Ignition?)

The firewall will need to be drilled and you need to put a grommet in there to protect the wire from chaffing. Be VERY careful around the drivers side as I've seen people drill the brake booster, drill through wires on the other side, etc, etc. If you have an aftermarket radio, the remote needs to go to the (typically) blue wire with a white stripe. This is a wire that becomes active when you turn the radio on, and it turns on the amplified sub. Lemme know if I can help with anything else...
