Hello.

I've just picked up a 2002 Z3 and I want to get a new head unit for it so that I can play my MP3 CDs. Its currently got a BMW Business CD player fitted which is about 19x6 cm in size, but normal head units are smaller than that, about 18x5. No problem I thought, I'll be able to pick up a Facia adapter to fill in the gaps, however I can't find any such thing for the Z3. Surely without some kind of adapter it will look really bad? Am I missing something or is there just nothing available?

try installdr.com, I know they generally carry a good variety of kits. If nothing else, a good audio shop can always make one.

Metra makes both an aftermarket wiring harness (70-8590) and dash kit (99-9001)for a 2002 Z3

Thanks for the replies guys. Couldn't find anything on installdr.com though, except some generic tech docs, the bulletin board's not working either, looks like an obsolete site to me. I checked out the Metra kit, and it looks like its probably what I want - the reason I hadn't found it before was I'd been looking on UK retailer sites and I can't find anywhere online that will sell me one over here.
