E36 touring 6x9 speakers

Hey there !

I have got these 6x9 Rockford Fosgate speakers which sound amaaaazing.. I took them out of my previous car.

Unfortunately, the standard audio of my E36 touring (1998) doesn't sound that good.. I therefore am looking to install the 6x9's in my touring, but I am not sure where I am able to fit 'em.

I don't want to install an amp or subwoofer, because I don't want to turn my car into a driving theater. I just want to improve the audio quality (and mainly the bass).

Has anyone got any clues as to where I might be able to install these 6x9's?
Other tips are more than welcome toooooo!!

Door panel? On the touring anything you do to fit a 6x9 is going to be custom. It's possible in a sedan or coupe with the rear shelf.

Yeah, I was thinking about the doorpanel as well.. Have been thinking about building a custom cardboard rear shelf too, although I don't know where to put my rollo then

Depending in how much room imyou want to keep in the back a custom enclosure might be the best bet. Personally I would refrain from cutting into anything.
