E36 Radio On E30 - BMW Forum

can i fit an e36 headunit im my 88 e30, my friend is going to sell me his radio cause he bought new radio.

Man, I don't know, good question. I looked for some HU picks online in an e30, but couldn't find any that confirmed one way or the other. Have any pics.

Does your head unit have two little flaps on either side of the radio, half way down each side? If so, I don't see why not, you would then need to determine whether the wiring harness' are the same. Pics of your deck and wiring harness would help greatly.

i dont have a headunit mine got stole, when i left my windows open once.

Yeah, that's not good.

Oh well, if your friend lives near you, maybe you could see if it lines up, fits, and has the same connections prior to you buying it.
