e30 radio harness??

anybody know where i can get a stereo harness to connect an aftermarket stereo into an e30? actually...an earlier e30, a 1986 325e....i cant seem to find one anywhere?! theres a bunch for later year e30s, but none for the 86???

da_bull? any ideas? i really dont want to go in and hack up the factory one...

I guess I missed this yesterday. Take a good picture of your harness and I can walk ya through it. No one makes a harness for the older ones. I dont recall them making one for the three series until 92. My ex-boss had an 86-87 and we couldnt find one for his.

whoa, forgot i posted this, my stepdad reminded me about it today, ill see what i can do, its for my stepdads ride, and i dont htink he will want to cut into the factory wiring....hmmm

You can get some t-taps and tap into every wire and still retain the stock plug, it just eats up some room behind the radio. They look like and hook up like this:
