ultraviolet353 Neutral Member Join Date: Aug 2004 Car: Posts: 92 Photos:	I am going with the Alpine 9835 with either the Infinity 5 1/4 Components or MB Quart 5 1/4 components. This is an expensive Alpine unit. Will I be missing out if I do not get an amp to power the component speakers?

mlomker n00b Join Date: Aug 2004 Location: Saint Paul, MN Car: Posts: 39 Photos:	5.25" components are typically rated for about 130 watts. I'd look for 80-100 watts/channel since that seems to be the sweet spot for amplifier pricing.
