do i need an amp to replace the stock sub in my 04 330ci - BMW Forum

ok check it out i just bought my first bmw... i owned alot of hondas and used to play with them but i cant stand the community of people that having a nice civic/ integra attracts... theifin bastids... anyway so i just bought an 04 330ci conv....and it has a stock sub in the back i just wanna know if i need to add an amp to replce the preexisting sub thats there

If you are going to do an aftermarket sub, the stock amp isn't powerful enough to run it. If you are just replacing the stock speaker with another stock speaker, you'll be fine there.

ok cool so i need to get an amp... thanks.. i thought that was the case
