I attempted an installation of DICE Silverline iPOD integration kit. Disconnected the battery, hooked cables to the cd changer cables, reconnected, etc. All I hear over the iPOD is hum, but I get some text and the car forwards through the tracks. HOWEVER, the warning light for the brakes and 4 wheel drive is not lite yellow.
1. How do I fix the warning lgihts?
2. Is the DICE unit bad?
After 5 minutes of driving, the warning lights went off. No idea what was going on there. The dealer I bought the Ice unit from is sending me a replacement. Hopefully that will work. Thanks for the suggestions.
OK, I got the replacement DICE unit and still no sound, just limited text. I have tried both the cd changer connection in the console and in the rear. Any ideas or do I need to go with the dealer ipod connection?
Has anyone else ever had the problem that the DICE unit just don't work? I have had the item replaced once, I have verified that the cable is connected to the back of the radio. I get the text, but no sound and a loud hum, no music at all. DICE has no further suggestions.
