dealer code not working help!! - BMW Forum

I am trying to swap my cassette business radio for a business cd radio in my 2000 z3. The bmw dealer gave me a code for the cd player but it does not work I tried it 3 times got locked out with display code wait. I wait over any hour and once cleared I tried the code again and does not work. The code given to me by the dealer was 21631. I think this is the wrong code but they insist it is right.
