Data On Cdx M30 Cd To Alpine 3

I have an '94 325is. I bought a Pioneer cdx m30 cd changer that has a 13 pin male din connector and my BMW Alpine3 (prewired to the trunk) also has a 13 male din. First problem is the male to male, second is the pin pattern is different. I need the pin out for the cable coming from my Alpine. Anybody?

I believe you have the newer cable in your car. If so, the "M" series cd changer you have will not work. I am not sure if they make an adapter for the factory Alpine to "talk" to the older Pioneer CD changer.

Check with crutchfield for this:

A cd changer adapter and chnager for a 1990 525i (its my car and I pulled out the "M" series cd changer), and a cd changer and adapter for your car. I'll bet they will be a different part number.
