Hello all,
used I was looking for a bit of help around repacing the H/U in a 2001 330ci sport auto.
I have recently purchased the car and am very impressed, all except for the H/U, and with this in mind decided to install my Blaupunkt DAB radio.
Before attempting to install the H/U, I checked the connections (For a converter) and found what looked like a DAB Aerial, following a chat with a BMW main dealer, it was confirmed as installed as standard.
I spent a couple of hours today attempting to get the system working, but have not been able to get a DAB signal through the aerial.
Does any know;
1) If the DAB aerial fitted as Std, is only an extension cable, which requires something added to the end?
1.1) If so does anyone know where it is located?
2) I am also intent on installing my amp, are there any suggested paths for running the RCA cables?
2.1) As before, please advise if known.
3) The ISO converter I purchased via "Auto-leads" takes up loads of room behind the stereo, are there any quick wins that can be used to make the insertion of the H/U easier?
