Custom navigation bracket

I am looking at several possible options for adding multimedia into my 99 323i. I have the factory stereo on top, and the climate controls directly below. With the climate controls relocated to the extra space I have below, I can add a 6.5 screen in the current radio space. This is a pic of what I am talking about, from a website in which this guy sells the brackets. Anyone know where I might be able to get a factory navigation bracket like the one in the picture? I have searched all over, and the custom bracket that he sells to fit a Pioneer AVD-W6000 exactly, he wants a crazy $450 for. I am also looking into the possiblity of just adding a flip out HU, and adding all the other components. Thanks for any help, or suggestions!

Here is a pic of the bracket that I was talking that houses the Pioneer AVD-W6000. You can see in the first pic, it is smooth across the bottom. I think I want to go this route, because it appears a little more factory. Again any ideas, are appreciated. Thanks!

Have you tried going to the dealer and seeing what parts they have? Im sure you could modify a factory panel to fit for less than 450.

I believe I will take a print out of what I am looking for, to the dealer in a few days...as soon as I get a chance. A simple plastic bracket shouldn't be too expensive. Thanks for the suggestion El Presidente. Even if I have to buy a few brackets and piece them together, it will still be much cheaper. Another option is an Alpine TME-M580 5.8" Wide Screen Video Monitor. I think once I know the exact dimensions of the actual bracket I can have a friend help me custom fit the monitor in behind it. We'll see how it goes, thanks again!
