Custom Fiberglass

I want to start playing around with fiberglass. Anyone know of any good books or websites with info or step by step instructions on how to make fiberglass enclosures?

I've found a couple of website that offer kits to train at home, but they were really expensive.

The best way to make a fiberglass enclosure is to line the area you are working with aluminum foil and make a small mold in that. Then take it out of the car and keep applying layers! you want it to be atleast an inch thick. For the sub, build one side around a peice of half inch MDF so it has support when mouted.

I unnderstand the basics that you mentioned, it's the finer details that I'm after. Like what to use for epoxies? What epoxies to use with what felts. When to use a felt as opposed to when to use a fleece. How to lay carbon fiber neatly and what epoxies to use with it.

Stuff like that.

I've got all the basic info from reading magazine articles and stuff, but they usually leave out a lot of the little details that can make or break a project.
