So yeah I wanna see some pics of custom bass setups you guys have seen or have in your bmw. basically our trunks are, what do you know, entirely metal , and low frequencies are gettin stuck!!!
I thought about removing the piece of the trunk backing to my rear seats where the courtesy thing folds down inbetween the rear passengers (never took the time to learn the proper name for it) thus allowing the frequencies to be pushed through the vehicle.
But I am also interested in other suggestions. All suggestions are welcome.
BTW I'm running a competion Audiobahn (1000W RMS) and a 500W monoblock with all infinity reference components and speakers.
i did that type of install about 3 years ago in my E34. I have my 2 11" Focals in a sealed box ducted towards the ski hole. Its kind of a bandpass, i guess thats the closest thing i can relate it to. It is totally sealed so nothing is in the trunk area to rattle the trunk. It sounds great and I have 80% of my trunk space. Plus its all hidden so with the rear armrest folded up you cant see anything, in the car or in the trunk. So i guess i cant show pix
