Hello,
I'm in the process of selecting a new cellphone. I really haven't researched on what's best. But I'm sure that there are many people on this board who have a lot of knowledge on what's best. I currently have Cingular Cell Phone Service Provider, so I want something from Cingular. I would like something that has a color display, has built-in digital camera, is easy to use, that will last me for at least a good year, takes good pictures, and I would like it to be a Flip Phone. A friend of mine has this cool Panasonic Phone...but it's only available in China. My dad is paying for it so money really isn't that big of an issue as long as it's under or around $400. My mom has a V60...and I really don't like that too much. But I 've heard the V70 is really good.
Any reccomendations on what cellphone to get is much appreciated!
Thank you!

Thanks!
What do you think about the Siemens SL56? Is it a chics phone? Anyways, my dad is willing to buy the most expensive phone! What is the most expensive phone that Motorola has to offer?

Thanks!

all of the info about the V600 is at:

hellomoto

RELEASE DATE: WEEK OF FEB 2, AT&T Wireless

some key features:

bluetooth capable
built in 4x zoom digital camera
mp3 ringtones
videoclip playback (for sports highlights, news, movie trailers, etc)

it should be out soon after the superbowl, they launched tv advertising for the V600 during the NFC and AFC championship games. it is well worth the wait, i have been using a nokia 8860 for 5 years now (remember the chrome phone with the sliding face). I still get compliments on it:

it is such a simple and basic phone but i like the new technologies, especially bluetooth technology, digital camera, and mp3 ringtones.

ideally i would love to wait for the nokia 7650, but i doubt it will make it to the states. i think its slated to be an asian market model and nokia's US market phones aren't that appealing. same deal with the titanium nokia 8910i (est 750.00USD). Asia, Oceania, and Europe get all of the really nice phones.

8910i

7650

but i think i'll end up just picking up a V600 when it comes out, my carrier att wireless is slated to sell the phone so it will be an easy change.

i also really like the sony ericsson T616 and T630. they seem like a pretty straightforward phones. bluetooth capable, digital camera. only downside, no mp3 ringtones or video. the upside is the that the phones have a caller photo-id feature where you can have pictures of your callers pop up on the display when they are calling you. this is possible because the phones are not flip-phones, also the phones feel like a small digital camera (you hold the phone horizontally to take a photo). i may head down this road aswell. I JUST HAVE TO LET MY 8860 GO!

T630

i also really like the look of the sony-ericsson bluetooth earpieces:

Once my dad gets a vehicle with Bluetooth Capabilities(we would like it in 745Li...anyone know if it is an option?), he will probably get the Sony Ericsson T630 cuz it's Bluetooth Capable! Hey, I found this Aston Martin V600....but it's too expensive...I could get my dad to get it for me....but I don't know much about Aston Martin's and I would feel guilty everytime I use it! Here's the....link!
Thanks, I appreciate you're help and my dad is willing to spend ANY amount of money on the phone cuz my mom and I got in an argument on my birthday and she said some pretty fucked up things to me and he's tryin' to make up for it!
