Cd Stuck In Player

Hey there guys, this is not actually a BMW post, but my brother has a Ford F-150 (I know, there's the first problem) with a JVC CD Player (the reason I asked here, as you all probably know best). I loaded a CD into it this morning, and it sensed it, said load on the screen, took the CD, but now will not recognize that there is a cd in the player, and it will not eject it, nor will it play it. How do I get it back out, I don't know what to do here besides rip that piece of crap apart and make my bro buy a new one. Thanks a bunch.

Hit the eject and power button at the same time, hold it for 5 seconds or until you hear something happening. On some models its SEL and power. this will reset the cpu (for lack of a better term) and restore it to factory defaults. I think it retains your presets, but you may have to set the clock. Hope that helps....
